Where does one go to make their dreams come true? There are many different answers to that question, but here locally, in uptown historical Marion, such a place exists that is fun, exciting, and a colorful surprise for all who visit.
The Dreaming Bear Art Studio, located at 720 11th St. in Marion, is run by locally owned Dori Patrick, a self-acclaimed zany, fun-loving mother of two, a couple of dogs, and believe it or not, a husband she calls her “partner-in-crime,” who may also be a bit quirky.
The Dreaming Bear is a colorful make-and-take art studio, where you can create, design, and enjoy all the majesties of your own creation, and take home your finished masterpiece. They also have a small gift shop, where you can browse and find that one-of-a-kind unique piece for any and all events.
But there is more. Why not use their studio for your next upcoming event? Whether it be for a birthday party, a corporate event, a Scouting activity, retirement, or just a play date with some of your adult friends, they offer a variety of unique ideas, that they can customize to your activities.
Dori has been a self-employed artist for many years, running her own retail store, with a make-n-take art studio in the back. She licenses many of her designs, and also takes care of wholesale customers across the country. She has a colorful, whimsical style that can compliment any decor, any taste, and any desire which you yourself wish to create. It is such a one-of-a-kind opportunity, that anyone should take advantage of… let your mind explode with ideas.
