Threaded Curio, open for business

Uptown Marion is a place of charm, culture, and discovery. While it is undergoing lots of changes, it is growing and adding new businesses. Each business is unique and a huge part of the Uptown Marion atmosphere. Included in this is Marion’s newest thrift store, Threaded Curio. Located on 11th Street, across the street from Uptown Snug is Threaded Curio’s home.

Threaded Curio opened its doors during the early part of July 2016. The store is a charming little spot filled with a variety of treasures that you are sure to fall in love with. “There is something here for everyone,” says Owner, Megan Imhoff. From home decor to children’s toys and clothing, Threaded Curio has anything and everything you can imagine. “We have antiques; however, we have so much more,” says Imhoff. When you walk inside the Threaded Curio, one is hit with a sense of exploration. You could go inside once a day for a week and find something new each time. There is a multitude of high quality, affordable items to look at and explore at Threaded Curio. Since its opening, Threaded Curio has participated in the Summer Sidewalk Sales, the Fall into Fashion event, and the Swamp Fox Festival celebration. It plans to be a part of many more.

Marion is passionate about all of its small businesses and their owners. Threaded Curio is no exception. It is independently owned and operated by Imhoff. She is a mighty female business owner and is a perfect addition to Uptown Marion. “The Marion area is so nice. There is a lot to do, the people are super friendly and they really take care of their city and its people” says Imhoff.

If you have not yet stopped by Threaded Curio, make it part of your Uptown Marion adventures. When Imhoff says there is something for everyone, she means it. “We have some of the lowest prices in the area, and offer consignment,” says Imhoff.
